I hope you can appreciate the fact that I resisted the strong urge of making this a gallery dominated by Cate Blanchett, specifically her flawless fashion sense. I mean look at that gorgeous shirt (Delpozo Fall ’14 RTW) she’s wearing in the Photo Call! Enjoy this hefty batch of pretty outfits.

Cannot wait for the films and the fashion to come!
Oscars have been and gone. Leo, oh poor Leo… Let’s not talk about that. Overall though it was enjoyable, especially since all the films were so incredibly amazing!
Here are some of the best fashion moments to remember the Academy Awards by. I sneaked in couple of details from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Fashion, fashion, fashion – it would be impossible not to love or live it. These ladies have inspired me to make finds at this weekend’s vintage fair. One day I will be able to say “Rodarte is my current favourite,” – priceless!
Ah, what a pleasure it is to look at fashion clothing. Here are some of my quick picks from Spring ’14 Menswear.
In order of appearance (from top to bottom):
Louis Vuitton (stylish and charming as always), Givenchy (can’t help but think of Star Wars), Lanvin (those straight, slick lines, the badassness – OMG), 3.1 Phillip Lim (I can feel the summer breeze on my skin), Yohji Yamamoto (Sensei in da house).
Hedi Slimane NEVER disappoints. Here’s little something he shot for HERO featuring Dane DeHaan who, by the way, is a promising actor and you should totally check his films out! Enjoy Slimane’s BnW talent.
And so this beautiful event comes to a close. This year’s Palm d’Or went to Blue is the Warmest Colour (La Vie d’Adèle) which sound like a powerful and graphic film. The few clips I’ve seen look good, so I shall be looking forward to the upcoming fall to check this (hopefully) masterpiece out.
“Bjørg Jewellery was founded in 2004 by Bjørg Nordli-Mathisen who is known for a conceptual approach to design that encapsulates both previous and present collections as balancing acts between the fine and the raw.”
I find this jewellery beautiful because ever since I discovered its existence, the collections have evoked in me a magical feeling. Considering that the designer is from Scandinavia I can’t help but think of the sagas and the myths circulating in that part of the world. Furthermore, the pieces have a raw element to them, in a good way. They combine that magic with nature and so, for me, it becomes something special and otherworldly. Pure beauty.
